Hello!

Just a few pictures today...  I went to Vegas for the weekend to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday, so haven't had much time to create.  :)  We had a blast in Vegas but it was nice to get home.

I found a cool and inexpensive way to create a light box for taking photos of my cards.  I'd been looking for awhile and found this today...  http://debscreativeheart.blogspot.com/2010/03/how-i-photograph-my-cards.html  I am really happy with how it turned out and love that it doesn't take up any room to store!

Anyway, here are my few cards for today.  Hope you like  :)

I'm not thrilled with the wording on this- should be darker I think.  I used my Wild Card Cricut cartridge for this one and added the flower sticker.

So, I guess I'm not very good about this whole blog thing.  I guess I will get the hang of it eventually- maybe once I feel more confident in my card-making skills.  I'm not thrilled about posting this many cards at once, but I will be better about updating more often to share a few at a time. 

I made this one for the mother of a friend of mine.  She is currently receiving chemo for breast cancer and is having a rough time of it.  I loved the sunshine feel- next time I will use light blue or cloud paper for the background and have it say "sending you sunshine"

So, I obviously haven't posted anything recently.  It's been one of those months.  :)  I will post soon, promise.  Don't give up on me....

So....

I ordered the Cuttlebug from HSN.com and it arrived yesterday.  I've played around with it a little, but haven't really done anything.  I do, however, have about 15 cards that I have made that I need to take pictures of and get posted.  I'm hoping for some craft time this weekend and will make sure I get my pictures posted.  Thanks to my new blog followers and to those who have commented.

More pictures

I've been on a card-making frenzy the last few evenings...  I am having so much fun with it and it takes my mind off my headache for a bit.  :) 

This is a little hard to read- it says Create Joy

This one isn't done, obviously- I'm stumped on what to do to finish the inside.

Time for some pictures and one question.

Just one quick question before we get to the pictures....  I am thinking about buying the Cuttlebug and am wondering if anyone has any input on it?  I mainly do cards- no scrapbooking at this time....

Anyway, here are some pictures of my crafting area and some of my projects.  I'm sure there is a way to add the pictures to my blog without putting them in a post.  I'll get Blogger figured out someday, I suppose.  :)

My crafting area is actually fairly clean for once.  I spent several hours getting things organized yesterday.

These are just some cards that I threw together- no real inspiration and no recipients in mind...

This is a hook that I will use when taking pictures of purses and bags that I list on my Etsy shop.

This is over my bed- just a little reminder to my husband and I...   I see now that the 2nd g in good night is a little lower than it should be- you can't really tell looking at it for real.
